On Monday 3rd September, students of Classes 5, 6 and 7 were entertained by a musical Puppet show organised in the school.
'Puppet Swing' displayed creative work by the French puppeteer and comedian Sabrina Arusam and two talented Hindustani musicians - Dhruv Bedi the promising sitar player, and the percussionist Saptak Sharma, disciple of well-known tabla master Ustad Akram Khan.
In this show, all of us laughed at “Raymond”, a typical old French man visiting India, and admired the Kathputli dancing with the charming and groovy melodies of sitar and tabla.
Mr Fabrice Plançon, the director of Alliance française du Bengale and Tiphaine Mayran, the Executive Director of Alliance française du Bengale were present for the occasion.
