Memorandum Of Association

The objects for which the society is formed will be:
|
|
- (a) to spread and help to spread and practice the teachings and ideals of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother in all fields of life.
|
|
- (aa) to keep the Society in touch with the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry , and to render all possible help and co-operation to the said ashram in its endeavours and objects; to subject itself to the discipline of Sri
Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry.
|
|

(b) to spread and help to spread education in all its fields i.e. spiritual,
scientific, literary, artistic, physical etc.
|
|

(c) to develop and help to develop confidence in human personality through knowledge
spiritual, Scientific, Literary, Physical etc
|
|

(d) to carry on and undertake education and research in all fields of life and in all branches of
Science, Technology and medium Dairy, Agriculture, Horticulture, Poultry,
Animal Husbandry, Literature, Fine Arts, Music, Dance, Economics,
Industry and also in different languages particularly Sanskrit, Physical Education etc.

- (e) To promote culture in all forms and carry out cultural activities,
organize discourses, lectures, seminars etc
|
|
- (f) To promote any understanding of Indian Culture, history and character in India and/or elsewhere.
|
|
- (g) To promote comparative studies in different religions, philosophies, culture etc
|
|
- (h) To carry out Research into the problems facing men, present their solutions through Yoga or otherwise and work them out in practice.
|
|
- (i) to promote, establish and run Ashrams, branches, centres, groups,
institutions, companies etc for promoting a true and spiritualised life
|
|
- (j) To assist, by loans, gifts, subsidies etc and in all other possible manner financial or otherwise,
individuals, institutions and other organizations, Ashrams, libraries,
reading rooms, study groups, periodicals, schools, colleges and universities, which have objects in whole or part similar to those of this Society
|
|
- (k) to promote the spirit of selfless service
|
To attain the aforesaid objects of the Society:
|
|
- (a) to establish, acquire, start, run maintain or manage Scientific
Laboratory, School, College, Library and such other projects as may be necessary for the attainment of the objects of the Society.

- (c) To collect and preserve manuscripts, printings, sculptures, works of
art, antiques, natural history specimens, mechanical and scientific instruments and designs.
|
|

e) to print and/or publish or cause to be printed and/or published useful books, literature, bulletins,
circulars, pamphlets and other writings and in furtherance thereof to produce, distribute and exhibit
Cinematographic films, slides, radio and television features and to sell and distribute the same with or without
consideration
