My dear Babua,

A short simple story. It is about

me.

It was 10.7.1924. I arrived

here. It was 10 A.M. 11.7.1924 Amrita

comes down from the Prosperity Staircase

tells me :- Chunibhai go up.

Sri Aurobindo is waiting for you

and I go up, he was waiting for me -

I am His. He is my Supreme Lord,

His as a grateful faithful ever

young servitor.

I am happy dear Ranjan -

with Mother's blessings Love

Dear Ranjan,

You have Shyamal, Rathin -

what a loving company you have!

And all 3 for the Mother totally with

you all. This is a very happy life

and an opportunity to turn collectively

towards the Divine. I am quite happy.

Joya has her nice time at

Lakshmi House.

Nov. Pradyot's departure day is

fast coming. Some body may come

from Lakshmi House

Dear Babua,

   I am going to Calcutta

Sri Aurobindo Institute of Culture

my passage by air 2nd morning

flight - return on the 3rd after

-noon flight

   Thus Saturday I leave

   Sunday I am back

If you can come

   Institute of Culture

   Bhavan

   Path Mandir

   and I am back

Krishna is back to Philips to his

former purchase works.

My dear Babua,

Yes, I expected to see you here

but it could not be so. You could

not come.

Hope you got the blessings.

Chandini - Poonam enjoyed here.

For Lakshmi House - Madanlal is

simply amicable. He says it

belongs to the Ashram.

For a change in the Construction

the Corporation is asking for the

Proprietor's permission.

He will give all permission

once the project is ready.

So as (as) L.H. is concerned it

is all O.K.

We go for the quality of students.

The quality is our strength and if

quality goes with quantity and

the quantity with the quality

This will give us a seed for the new race.

Joya with Bharatidi's father will

be here for the 24th April Darshan

You will be happy to know Sri

Madanlalji has signed the letter

giving all powers to alter to construct

to remove the old construction - etc. in

The Lakshmi House. This can be

presented to the Corporation for any new

Construction - alternation (alteration) etc.

Long felt need is fulfilled now

and the management is free

work.

When Joya comes I shall see

that Madanlalji & Joya exchange joy

happiness.

needed by the Corporation for construction

repairs, change etc.

10th July 1924. I reached

Pondicherry.

11th July 10 A.M. Sri Aurobindo saw

me - I saw him

and Pondicherry became my home

Sweet Home as for ever at the

feet of Sri Aurobindo, dear Babua

I am happy.

It is not that I gloat over the

past.

You can be so, live so,

You can be even more.

and you more - it shall be

my happiest day to see you so.
