The 113th birth anniversary of our Founder-Chairman, Shri Pradyot Kumar Bhattacharya was celebrated with the pomp and merriment of a School Fête, on 31 August, 2018.
The day began with a presentation during Assembly, on Daddy, as Shri Pradyot Bhattacharya, is lovingly known.
This was followed by a screening of the movie, Minions and a super exciting quiz based on it. Games such as khoko, dodge ball and chase me were another high point that kept the fun going.
Soon the hungry tummies came rushing to Promesse Hall to have their share of fish fingers, chicken pakoras, luchi aloo dum, jalebis,pastries, and soft drinks.
In the meantime, the teachers paid their respects to Daddy, in his room.
The last bit of excitement revolved around the raffle draw which left the winners beaming!
It would certainly not be an over statement to say that The Future Foundation School had celebrated Daddy's birthday with a gala fête, replete with fun, food and fervour! The raison d'être behind the organizing of the school fête is the fact, that Daddy simply loved children and his birthday used to be celebrated with fun and gaiety by the children of the school!
Remarkably, an ethos of cleanliness pervaded through the day, notwithstanding the food and games! Daddy was a stickler for cleanliness and what better way to pay our homage to him than by celebrating his birthday in, literally, a spick and span manner!
