A felicitation ceremony was organised in the school for 24 students presently studying French in Class 5 on April 12, 2017.
The children have come up with brilliant results in their 'Delf Prim A1' examination.
They were felicitated by Mr Damien Syed, the Consul General of France in Kolkata, Mr Stéphane Amalir, the Director of Alliance Française du Bengale and Ms Magosha Fréquelin, the attachée linguistique of Institut Français en Inde.
The children were given certificates and beautiful gifts by the French dignitaries.
This is the first time in Asia, in India and in Kolkata that Delf Prim A1 Examination had such a big success with such small children of 8 or 9 years old, studying French in this school.
Parents were proud and cheerful to see their children getting the international certificates and said that the unconventional method of teaching - learning of French with its very creative and liberal pedagogy seems to fit in just rightly into the philosophy of the school.
