As in every year, TFFS organised various Career Counselling programmes In February and March, 2017.
Students of Class 11 participated in the Career counselling programme organised by the School, from March 07, 2017 to March 10, 2017.
Students and parents participated in various activities - Aptitude Test, Introspective Exercise, Group Seminar, Work book on Interest, Quiz, Individual Counselling, Seminar for parents.
An interactive session, "Campus France", was held for the students of Class XI on February 06, 2017 by our Principal, Mr. Ranjan Mitter and Mr. Amitava Das, Education Advisor.
The session was about the prospects of studying in France.
Students were given information on universities like Sciences PO, Insa Rouen, Insa Lyon, Essec Management, ECAM Graduate School of Engineering, etc for studies at the undergraduate level.
Mr. Mitter highlighted the quality of eduation in France and answered queries from the students.
Students of the Commerce and Humanities Stream of Class 11 attended an Interactive Session on March 15, 2017 on Company Secretary conducted by Mr. S Sreejesh, Assistant Director, Institute of Company Secretary of India.
He described the Role of Company Secretary as per Companies Act 2013 as Key Managerial Personnel, Compliance Officer, Governance Officer, Board advisor, Secretary Auditor.
He mentioned that Company Secretary is also known as Corporate Governance Officer who keeps an eye on the Company whether it follows good and ethical business practices. He added like Doctors who write Dr., Company Secretary can use the nomenclature ACS before their name for differentiation. Towards the end, he informed about the difficulty level and the passing percentage of the ACS course.
Class 11 students attended another interactive seminar on Prospects of studying in France after Class 12 on February 27, 2017. The resource persons were:
