September 5, 2016 was the 128th birth anniversary of the teacher, philosopher, statesman and India's second President, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The day was observed as Teachers' Day with pomp, splendour and ceremony.
The morning assembly was conducted by the students of Class 12, the senior most class. The students expressed their gratitude to teachers with great eloquence.
A cultural programme, organised by the students of Class 12, was put up to mark the day. Songs, dance, skits and drama - reached great heights of excellence and the performers received a standing ovation from the audience.
This is the day when students and teachers reaffirm their pledge to cherish and protect the unique informal bond of love that bind teachers and students of the school - something that makes the institution special and different from all others.
